Alan Leftridge

Alan Leftridge is the editor of the National Association for Interpretation's The Interpreter magazine. Since 2002, he has conducted more than 85 interpretive writing workshops and Certified Interpretive Guide training workshops around the United States. His writing credits include more than 100 articles and editorials in interpretive magazines, as well as numerous texts for interpretive panels and brochures. He authored Going to Glacier (2006), Seeley-Swan Day Hikes (2005), and Glacier Day Hikes (2003). Alan lives south of Glacier National Park in the Swan Valley, Montana. Before moving to Montana, he spent 25 years teaching interpretation and environmental studies courses at Miami University, Ohio, and Humboldt State University in California. His introduction to interpretation was as a seasonal interpreter in Yellowstone National Park.
