Biography

Amy Cabaniss, PhD, MBA, has an established career in environmental education and communication with applied research in conservation psychology to foster environmentally responsible behaviors. She teaches graduate courses in environmental studies and business sustainability and has worked in municipal solid waste management as an MSW educator, regional recycling and household hazardous waste program coordinator. She served several terms as a board member of the North American Hazardous Materials Management Association (NAHMMA) where she was also president of the NAHMMA Northeast Chapter. She is editor of the Handbook on Household Hazardous Waste and Perspectives on Product Stewardship by Scott Cassel, Product Stewardship Institute.
