Angela Marie Smith is Associate Professor of English and Gender Studies and director of Disability Studies at the University of Utah, USA. She is the author of The Evolution of Horror in the 21st Century (Bloomsbury, 2023), Hideous Progeny:Disability, Eugenics, and Classic Horror Cinema (2011), and several articles and chapters on disability representation.
