Biography

Barry Cooper is a Professor of Music at the University of Manchester, England, UK. He is best known for his research on Beethoven and has previously published or edited ten books on the composer. He has also published scholarly performing editions of Beethoven’s 35 piano sonatas and other works, and his completion of the first movement of Beethoven’s unfinished Tenth Symphony has been performed worldwide.
