BRIDGET DEALY VOLZ is a writer and a former children's librarian. She was the primary author of the first edition of this book. SUSAN FICHTELBERG is a children's librarian at Woodbridge Public Library, a public speaker and workshop presenter, and is author of Encountering Enchantment: A Guide to Speculative Fiction neens (Libraries Unlimited, 2007).
