Biography

Chris Himsworth had been a member of the Law School at the University of Edinburgh since 1974, teaching and researching across a number of areas of public law, and had become Professor of Administrative Law. Since retirement from the Law School in 2011 he has been a Professor Emeritus. In 2015 he published The European Charter of Local Self-Government: A Treaty for Local Democracy.
