Gianluca Fantoni is Senior Lecturer in Modern History at Nottingham Trent University, UK. He is the author of Italy Through the Red Lens: Italian Politics and Society in Communist Propaganda Films (1946–79) (2021), and Storia della Brigata ebraica (A History of the Jewish Brigade (Einaudi, 2022). He is general editor of the journal, Modern Italy (Cambridge University Press).
