Gordon D. Raeburn completed his PhD at Durham University, UK and was previously a postdoctoral research fellow with the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for the History of Emotions, at the University of Melbourne, Australia. His research interests are early modern death and emotions in northern and central Europe.
