Hilary Branch is the owner of H E Branch Advisors, a consultancy that helps non-profit organizations successfully navigate transformational moments. Prior to that she was the Vice President of Planning and Strategy at the Art Institute of Chicago, overseeing institutional strategy, exhibitions, and special projects. In her two decades working in museums, she has become a specialist in leading projects that cross siloes and span institutions, cultivating expertise in operational revenue, philanthropy, research and analytics, exhibitions, and more. She, along with her co-authors, is a founding member of the Arts & Culture Strategy Forum, a group of strategist professionals that meet bi-monthly to share knowledge and establish best practices in the field. Prior to her two decades in the museum field, Hilary earned degrees from Wellesley College and the University of Chicago. She speaks three languages and is deeply committed to her book club of fifteen years and counting.
