Melis Uzdurum is Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Cultures at the University of Helsinki, Finland. Her research interests are focused on the geoarchaeology of Southwest Asia, complex societies, techno-environmental dynamics of earthen building materials and the relationship between human material culture and the environment.
