Michelle Langford is Associate Professor of film studies at the University of New South Wales, Australia. She has published extensively on the cinemas of Iran and Germany and is the author of Allegory in Iranian Cinema: The Aesthetics of Poetry and Resistance (Bloomsbury, 2019).
