Nelson González-Ortega is Professor of Hispanic Literatures and Cultures at the University of Oslo, Norway. He is author of The Subcultures of Drug Trafficking in Latin America (2015), editor of Bolivia in the 21st Century (2017) and his essays and chapters have appeared in Romance Studies, In Language - Nation - Identity (ed Elizaveta Khachaturyan, 2015)and In and Out of Africa (ed. Joanna Boampong, 2012).
