Biography

Patti Gibbons is the Head of Collection Management at the University of Chicago Library’s Special Collections Research Center . She has managed cultural heritage materials and registered loans in library and museum settings since the 1990s. Currently, she and administers all aspects of the loan program, from risk management evaluation, item review and condition documentation, to specifying shipping mounts, coordinating fine arts transportation services, couriering materials, and detailing customs registration for foreign loans.
