Biography

Richard M. Harrison is the vice president of operations and director of defense technology programs at the American Foreign Policy Council. He directs a briefing series on Capitol Hill to educate congressional staff on defense technology issues affecting U.S. national security. He is co-editor of Cyber Insecurity: Navigating the Perils of the Next Information Age. Previously, he worked at Lockheed Martin, where he functioned as a systems engineer. He completed his MA in security studies from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service and earned a BS in aerospace engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
