Ruth Barratt-Peacock is an Australian literary studies scholar and musicologist. She has professional associations with the University of Siegen, Friedrich Schiller University (Germany), and the University of Huddersfield (UK) and is an active member of several networks and societies, including the Superhero Studies Network, Australasian Horror Studies Network, Gothic Association of New Zealand and Australia, the International Society for Metal Music Studies, and the American Association of Australasian Literary Studies.
