Sandra Hirsh, PhD, is Special Assistant to the Provost for AI Initiatives at San José State University (SJSU), USA. She previously served as Associate Dean of the College of Information, Data and Society and as Professor and Director of the School of Information. Before joining SJSU, she worked at HP Labs, Microsoft, and LinkedIn. She is Chair of ALA’s International Relations Roundtable and past president of the Association for Library and Information Science Education and the Association for Information Science & Technology. She is the editor of Library 2035: Imagining the Next Generation of Libraries (2024).
