Sarah E.L. Bowskill is Professor of Latin American Studies at Queen's University Belfast, UK. She is author of Gender, Nationand the Formation of the Twentieth-Century Mexican Literary Canon (2011). She specializes in the politics surrounding the reception, distribution and circulation of Spanish American cultural production particularly as it relates to canon formation and gender studies.
