Biography

Sarah Richards is a Professor of Childhood Studies and Head of Suffolk Doctoral College at the University of Suffolk, UK. Sarah’s research interests include intercountry adoption and participatory methodologies, including those associated with research with children. Sarah’s publications include Ethical Research with Children: Untold Narratives and Taboos (2015), Ethnographic Research and Analysis: Anxiety, Identity and Self (2017), Stories, Storytellers and Storytelling (2022), and Critical Perspectives on Research with Children: Reflexivity, Methodology and Researcher Identity (2023).
