RSC Live

The Royal Shakespeare Company creates theatre at its best, made in Stratford-upon-Avon and shared around the world.

The RSC Live Collection contains 17 films of live productions from 2013-2017 including the cutting-edge 2016-17 production of The Tempest starring Simon Russell-Beale. It also offers 10 films from 2018-19 including Twelfth Night starring comedy icon Adrian Edmondson.

We will continue to add new RSC productions as they are filmed, as the RSC works through Shakespeare’s canon. Each year, the RSC produces an inspirational artistic programme, setting Shakespeare in context, alongside the work of his contemporaries and today’s writers.
