…it is a book that brings together, for a non-specialist audience, a range of Armenian traditional tales in new translations. This is very welcome, for the corpus is a rich one and the stories merit wider circulation…. Bonnie Marshall's book makes more of this rich oral culture available to the Englishspeaking reader.
