The Bloomsbury Global Black Studies series is a dynamic, interdisciplinary platform for critical scholarship that explores the lived experiences, cultural expressions, and political struggles of Black communities across the globe.

Building on the Blackness in Britain series, this now moves beyond national boundaries to bring together voices from across the African diaspora to examine race, resistance, identity, and justice in global contexts.
Covering the breadth of the contributions, perspectives and experiences of the African diaspora, publishing key scholarly works from political science, with an emphasis on works of an interdisciplinary nature, including sociology, cultural studies, history, global health and education.
