Critical Studies in Do-it Yourself Cultures

The first book series to focus exclusively on DIY culture and cultural practice in a global context, Critical Studies in Do-it Yourself Cultures engages different aspects of DIY culture and cultural production in areas such as popular music, cultural studies, music production, and sociology. Books in the series consider the connections between DIY and current global challenges such as poverty, precarity and austerity, migration, climate change, exclusion, ethnic and racial and violence, and gender inequalities.
