Native American Resources Series

This series provides reference materials on historical and contemporary topics within Native American Life. Some volumes are arranged as encyclopedias to provide authoritative articles that can be utilized by scholars and casual readers alike. Other volumes are arranged as bio-bibliographies, equally divided between a comprehensive biography of a notable Native American and an extensive annotated bibliography about that person. A third type of publication provides a detailed guide to large collections of manuscripts and government documents that heretofore have been underutilized in the study of Native American history and present-day concerns.
