Off the Fence: Morality, Politics and Society

Publishing short, sharply-argued texts in applied moral and political philosophy, Off the Fence explores philosophy-in-use – at once rigorous, relevant and accessible. With an interdisciplinary focus, the series aims to tackle pressing real-world issues through clear and careful philosophical analysis, covering topics such as climate crisis, work, violence, consent, animal ethics, structural injustice, food and fascism. The series especially welcomes proposals from writers whose identities are under-represented in philosophy publishing, including those based in the Global South and those writing within non-Western philosophical traditions.
