Description

Raman is a college student who prides himself on being an intellectual misfit. Striving to liberate himself from life's ordinariness, he doesn't mind wearing the label of 'crack' or 'madman'. His life takes a turn when he meets Hema, a fellow student. His fascination with Hema and her mother – whom he imagines as Surpanakha from the Ramayana – causes conflicting feelings of attraction and suspicion.

Asuraganam is a vivid kaleidoscope of emotions coursing through the mind and heart of an eighteen-year-old who confronts the reality of being different, even as he sees the comfort in conforming. Will Raman continue to remain the maverick, as he likes to see himself, or will he find a happy balance of the conventional and the radical?
