Alex J. Berryman

Alex J. Berryman is an ornithologist and conservation scientist. A lifelong birder, Alex has written and edited a number of field guides, and has worked as a freelance ornithologist, editor and tour guide across the world, including a stint studying in Australia where he developed his affinity for Asian and Australasian birds. He is now based in Cambridge, UK, where he works for BirdLife as part of the Red List Team. Alex also sits as Chair of the Oriental Bird Club’s Publications Committee and is Managing Editor of BirdingASIA.
