David Eldridge is senior lecturer in Humanities at the University of Hull, UK. He is the author of Hollywood’s History Films (2006), American Culture in the 1930s (2008) and co-editor of Shadow Cinema: The Historical Production Contexts of Unmade Films (2020), Dr. Eldridge specialises in cultural history, with a focus on the representation and suppression of marginalised voices in popular culture.
