Biography

David V. Trotman is Associate Professor of History and Humanities and Associate Director of the Harriet Tubman Institute at York University. He received his doctorate at Johns Hopkins University and most recently, he is author of Contesting Freedom: Control and Resistance in the Post-Emancipation Caribbean (with Gad Heuman).
