Biography
Genevieve Lloyd is Emerita Professor at the Australian Academy of Humanities and an agenda-setting philosopher. The first woman appointed to a professorship in philosophy at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, she was previously Senior Lecturer in Philosophy at Australian National University.
Lloyd is the author of 10 monographs with leading academic publishers; most recently published: ‘Reading Spinoza in the Anthropocene’ (2024). Her work is translated in 8 languages.
