Biography
Hem Sagar Baral is a leading expert on the birds of southern Asia. For four years, he worked as a naturalist at Royal Chitwan National Park before completing a diploma in geology at Tribhuvan University and then earning a PhD for his work on the lowland grassbirds in Nepal. Until 2023, Hem was the ZSL's representative in Nepal.
