Kathryn Simmonds lives in Norwich in the East of England with her husband, two daughters and two mischievous guinea pigs. In addition to accident-prone bears, she has written about a shy sunflower seed (Be My Brave Sunflower) and a peace-loving bee (Trouble at the Bug Hotel). She likes visiting the beach, eating cake and reading funny poems.
