Biography

Ken Daley is an award-winning artist/illustrator who was born in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada, to parents who emigrated from Dominica. He has exhibited his work in Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean, and his artwork is in numerous private and public collections. Ken has illustrated fifteen children’s books and is currently working on five more titles. His book Auntie Luce’s Talking Paintings was an Américas Award Honor Book and a Kirkus Best Picture Book, The Little Regent received the Ruth & Sylvia Schwartz Children's Book Award, Black Boy, Black Boy won the Black Kidlit Award for Best Illustration, and Granny’s Kitchen was a Blue Spruce Award nominee. www.kendaleyart.com@kendaleyart
