Michele Fenton is a monographs catalog librarian at the Indiana State Library in Indianapolis, Indiana. She received her master’s in library science from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro. She is the blogger for Little Known Black Librarian Facts and co-edited TheHandbook of Black Librarianship, Third Edition, with Andrew Sekou Jackson and Dr. Marva DeLoach. She is also a past secretary of BCALA and a past editor of International Leads, the newsletter of the ALA International Relations Round Table. In addition, she is a member of the Association for the Study of African American Life and History, the Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society, the ALA Library History Round Table, and a member of the ALA Council.
