Biography
Ra Malika Imhotep is Assistant Professor of International/Global African Diaspora Studies at Spelman College, USA. Ra’s work is invested in interdisciplinary experiments in Black feminist knowledge production rooted in Southern and Circum-Atlantic vernacular/folk cultures. Ra’s academic work has been published in The Drama Review, Women & Performance, Palimpsest, #identity: Hashtagging, Race, Gender, and Nation, and several forthcoming anthologies. Ra has also published creative-critical works of poetry and prose including their debut poetry collection gossypiin (2022).
