Shannon Adams, MLIS, is the Director of Access and Resource Sharing Services at Southern Methodist University, USA. She previously served as the Adult Engagement Administrator for the Dallas Public Library. She was chair of the Dallas Public Library Social Awareness Team for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, the Young Black Readers Newsletter, and the Texas Public Libraries Cultural Learning Collective. She is the co-author of Social Justice at Storytime: Promoting Inclusive Children’s Programs (with Lauren Hough, 2022, Libraries Unlimited).
