Stanislav J. Kirschbaum is Professor Emeritus of International Studies at York University, Glendon College, Toronto, Canada. He is a specialist in Slovak Studies and the author of the first comprehensive English language history of Slovakia. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and an Officer of the Ordre des Palmes académiques de France.
