Biography
Stephen Gundle is Professor of Film and Television Studies at the University of Warwick, UK. He has published on Italian cinema and mass media, as well as Italian cultural and political history, including Mass Culture and Italian Society from Fascism to the Cold War (2007), Bellissima: Feminine Beauty and the Idea of Italy (2007) and Fame Amid the Ruins: Italian Film Stardom in the Age of Television (2020). He has contributed to journals such as Quaderni storici, Modern Italy and the Journal of Modern Italian Studies.
