Subhadeep Ray is Associate Professor in the Department of English, Bidhan Chandra College, Kazi Nazrul University, Asansol, India, and visiting professor in the Department of English, Kazi Nazrul University, Asansol. He was awarded a doctoral degree for his thesis on Joseph Conrad’ s fiction by the University of Kalyani, Kalyani, West Bengal.
