Biography
Tom Dugdale is Associate Professor of Theatre, Film, and Media Arts at Ohio State University, USA, and teaches directing, devising and acting. He has himself directed more than thirty theatre productions across the USA and in Europe and his academic research focuses on directing pedagogy and community-engaged performance. He is the author of Directing Your Heart Out: Essays for Authenticity, Engagement, and Care in Theatre (Methuen Drama, 2023).
