Yasuaki Takeuchi is currently human rights adviser at the Permanent Mission of Japan to the International Organizations in Geneva. He holds an LLB and LLM from Doshisha University and an LLM from the University of Sheffield. He was previously an intern including at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the Supreme Court Chamber of the UN Assistance to Khmer Rouge Trials (ECCC).
