Written by proven experts in the field of university teaching and learning, it is easy to read, sensible, and to the point, with each chapter flowing logically into the next. Especially helpful from my point of view was the insight into common problems and mistakes, the insightful explanations of how students learn, and the stress given to the vital importance of having your student's abilities uppermost in your mind at every stage: from course preparation to class discussions and essay feedback. An excellent book.
