Adnan Hossain is Assistant Professor of Gender Studies and Critical Theory at the Department of Media and Culture at Utrecht University, the Netherlands. He is the author of Beyond Emasculation: Pleasure and Power in the Making of Hijra in Bangladesh (2021).
