Biography

Andrea Raffaele Ghiotto is Associate Professor of Classical Archaeology at the Department of Cultural Heritage of the University of Padua, Italy. He has conducted numerous excavations and research projects at various archaeological sites, including Nora (Sardinia) and Aquileia. Since 2015 he has been directing the archaeological excavations of the Roman theatre in Aquileia. His publications include L’architettura romana nelle città della Sardegna (2004) and (as co-author) Nora. Il foro romano. Storia di un’area urbana dall’età fenicia alla tarda antichità. 1997-2006, I, Lo scavo (2009); Aquileia. Fondi Cossar, 2.2, La domus di Tito Macro e le mura.
