Anna Krzywoszynska is Associate Professor of Transdisciplinary Human-Environment Relations at the University of Oulu, Finland. Her work has spear-headed the dynamic take-up of soils as a research matter in the social sciences and environmental humanities. She has published widely on the politics of soil knowledge and on the political ecology of soils, including as a co-editor of Thinking with Soils (2020). She founded and manages soilcarenetwork.com.
