Biju Itukkapparakkal is an Assistant professor with the Department of English and Cultural Studies, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore. He has researched V S Naipaul and William Dalrymple on Social Representation. His research interests are Travel Writing, Theatre, Indian Literature and Malayalam cinema. Published papers include “Narrativizing Travel in the post-colonial Indian Context: A Close Reading of the Select Travel Narratives of V.S. Naipaul and William Dalrymple” and “Writing Narratives of Travel through Chronicles: A Study of Dalrymple’s City of Djinns and Nine Lives”. He has been reviewing articles for the Taylor and Francis Journal, Quarterly Review of Film and Video (QRFV).
