Biography

Charlotte Ribeyrol is Associate Professor at the Sorbonne University in Paris and a Member of the Institut Universitaire de France, France. Her main field of research is in Victorian Hellenism and the colours of the past in 19th-century culture. Following her Marie Curie Fellowship at Oxford, she was awarded an ERC Consolidator grant for her project CHROMOTOPE which will explore the 19th century ‘chromatic turn’.
