HOWARD D. WHITE is a Professor in the College of Information Studies at Drexel University. He has presented numerous papers and workshops, and his work has been published in journals such as Library Quarterly, Journal of the American Society for Information Science, Library Journal, and the Journal of Academic Librarianship. In 1993 he received the Research Award from the American Society for Information Science.
