Biography

Kenneth Pennington is the Kelly-Quinn Professor of Ecclesiastical and Legal History at The Catholic University of America, USA. His books include The Prince and the Law, 1200-1600: Sovereignty and Rights in the Western Legal Tradition (1993) and (with Melodie Harris Eichbauer), Law as Profession and Practice in Medieval Europe (2011).
