Kevin Rylands is a birder and naturalist. His passion for birds was sparked in the south-east but Devon has been his adopted county, and Dawlish Warren his local patch, since 1991. He has worked for the RSPB for over 25 years, supporting and encouraging farmers to boost the conservation of Chough, Cirl Bunting and Stone-curlew in particular. He has also maintained the Dawlish Warren Recording Group website since 2004 and was Devon Bird Recorder for six years.
