Leandra H. Hernández is Associate Professor and Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Communication at University of Utah, USA. She is a queer critical/feminist health communication and media studies scholar with applied praxis contributions to teaching, research, and service. She is also the co-editor of six co-edited volumes and has been published in journals such as Health Communication, Communication Education, and Women's Studies in Communication.
